The challenge

As a one-person painting company in Jersey, Tim faced the challenge of managing a high volume of customer job requests, digital marketing, customer invoicing, and payment collections. The manual management of customer requests from various sources like Facebook, mail, phone, and SMS was becoming increasingly difficult. 

Most communication was over the phone since Handyman Jersey did not have a digital presence on Facebook, Google, or a website. It took a lot of work for customers to see what services Handyman Jersey offers and how to contact them. Handyman Jersey manually created customer invoices in Word and sent them to customers for payment. Payment control and collection were also done manually, a process that was time-consuming and prone to errors.

The process

Tim contacted Salespie and expressed the need to work more efficiently, allowing them to focus even more on delivering high-quality painting services for Jersey residents. For the domain and the new WordPress site for Handyman Jersey, Salespie offered a cost-efficient and high-performance hosting solution, including service and support, professional corporate email, SSL, and DDOS protection. Salespie manages everything.

Salespie created a new professional website for Handyman Jersey in WordPress for optimal performance. It is fully integrated into Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, and Facebook via Facebook Pixel. Salespie also optimised the new website via AI for the best possible Google Search performance. The website is integrated into MailChimp and Quickbooks for easier and faster management of customer requests.

Tim wanted a solution to store and manage all customer data in one platform. Salespie implemented and integrated Mailchimp into the new website and accounting system. Via Mailchimp, Handyman Jersey was enabled to better understand the audience and find new ways to market to them when using Mailchimp for customer relationship management (CRM). When a customer sends in a request via the website, the prospect details are automatically emailed to Handyman Jersey and added to MailChimp for retargeting and campaign. From MailChimp the data is automatic populated in Quickbooks.

Marketing

In today’s digital age, a strong online presence is crucial for attracting customers. Recognizing this, Salespie helped Handyman Jersey set up a Google Business Profile, a Facebook Account, and a Google Ads campaign account, and integrated the Website and Mailchimp with Google Analytics to better understand its customers.

Accounting software for small businesses

Handyman Jersey managed all invoices manually in Word and needed a more robust process as the business grew. Salespie suggested implementing Quickbooks Online for small businesses, which was integrated to Mailchimp for a 360-degree view of the customer data. Handyman Jersey could, via Quickbooks, track income and expenses, easily send custom invoices and quotes, connect to its bank for easy reconciliation, track GST, and get insight on how the business was performing, all integrated into Mailchimp and the new website.
